I have over 40 years experience in the field of appraising, restoring, buying
and selling of all types of personal property. This experience was gained in our
family business, Rikki’s Studio Inc. (Miami, Fl 1955 -1994). I am very experienced
in the appraising of residential and commercial furnishings. These
include but are not limited to art, antiques, custom furnishings, commercial
equipment, office furnishings, etc. Years of experience in the interior decorating
of fine residences in South Florida. As a licensed Public Adjuster in the state of
Florida since 1993, I have adjusted numerous large loss claims, which include
the dwelling, contents and loss of use. Numerous times in the past three
decades, I have been qualified and testified as an expert witness in state and
federal courts. I have worked as an appraiser and restorer for many of the
insurance companies in Florida.
Received my Public Adjusters License in Florida in 1993 and have been active
in this field ever since. Also licensed as a Public Adjuster in Georgia, North
Carolina and South Carolina.

I have served over 36 years in the insurance industry with extensive negotiation
experience in property loss litigation, coverage and damages. I also have
the reputation for assessing damages fairly and objectively and for what they
really are. I’m a qualified expert in all homeowner and commercial claims,
including water, windstorm, fire, sinkhole, mold, condominiums and mobile
homes. I also served as a State of Florida Certified CE Instructor.
I believe in providing a quality work product including a narrative report,
detailed estimate and delineated Appraisal Award based upon my personal
inspection of the loss. I feel that both the insured and the carrier are entitled
to know exactly what is being allowed or included on an appraisal award. It
is my firm belief that this information be included in any appraisal or umpire
assignment.
I am currently handling appraisal and umpire assignments throughout the State
of Florida, with fully staffed offices in the Orlando and the Ft. Lauderdale areas
