What do Utah umpires do?

While the Utah Insurance Department regulates insurance carriers, umpires are not usually licensed in any state. While particular

umpire licensing is not required by Utah, most umpires hold qualified licenses. For instance, if the umpire is also an independent public insurance adjuster, then he has met Utah's licensing requirements for insurance adjusters for that profession. In addition, insurance attorneys must sustain their attorney's licenses.
